A low impact class with a range of simple exercises which focus on abdominals, with stretching to relax the body.
Step and Tone
A step class using floor work and weights for a good all round exercise session.
A fun water work out, no impact, just an excellent work out for the whole body.
Physical postures (asanas), breathing exercices (pranayama) and relaxation techniques/ meditation. The Asanas taught classic Indian Hatha Yoga postures. A class to strengthen, tone and increase flexibility, stamina and enery levels.
A mat based class which works deep abdominal muscles and the lower back to develop a stronger core, improve body alignment, lengthen the spine and improve balance and co-ordination.
A good all round workout using a mix of cardiovascular activity with muscle toning using weights and resistance.
Classes are free to all members. All non-members are welcome, however, there will be a charge of £4.00 per guest per class, except the Aqua Classes which are £5.00, or a charge of £8.00 for a class, complimentary towel and use of the wet facilities, there is a charge to members and non-member of £5.00 for the Yoga Classes. There is also a limit on the number for all classes. Classes should therefore be booked in advance on Tel: 023 9246 6214 to avoid disappointment, this is on a first come first serve basis, no more than one week in advance. All classes are of varying levels of intensity and should be selected carefully. If you are more than five minutes late for a class, your place may be given to someone else.
